Moon Young Hee is a South Korean designer who arrived in Paris in 1991 and launched her own label in 1994. In 1996, she was invited by the “Chambre Syndicale de la Couture et du Prêt à Porter” to present her collections in the prestigious “Calendrier du Prêt à Porter”.
In 2001, she opened her first own-name workshop at 62 rue Charlot, located in the famous Parisian district of Le Marais. In 2015, a second boutique was opened at 19 quai Malaquais in the 6th arrondissement. In 2012, it is exhibited at the National Museum in Seoul, and in 2014, South Korean President Mmr Park Geun-Hye gives her the “President Award”, a tribute to her entire career.
During all these years, she has been talking about beauty, poetry and energy, about a woman or a man between two worlds… With a strong conviction to affirm a more androgynous and universal fashion, she is today recognized as a pioneer in this field.
